Corporate social responsibility (CSR) of Aero Engineers...

Aero engineers have a vital role to perform in the design and operation of aircraft and machines in the aviation/aerospace industry.
Aero engineers committed to ensuring safety of the flying public...
SAEP, represented by Engr. Egz Aguilar II, signed a commitment with PRC, committing SAEP members to support PRC in carrying out its Commission Social Responsibility Program (CSRP) on May 27 at the PICC. One of the projects under CSRP is to support a community program aligned with its vision. In this regard, PRC is asking the help and support of all professionals through the AIPOs/APOs. This is done by requesting from the AIPOs/APOs to sign a commitment.

Engr. Egz Aguilar II signing the commitment in behalf of SAEP and aero engineers...
For the aeronautical engineering profession, we formulated and committed to support PRC under our own corporate social responsibility. This all boils down in our commitment to serve society and ensure the safety of the flying public...

"Corporate social responsibility (CSR) has vital importance to the Professional Regulatory Board (PRB) of Aeronautical Engineering and the Society of Aerospace Engineers of the Philippines (SAEP). Filipino aeronautical engineers shall assist in the improvement of the aviation communities by providing consultancy services in the design and manufacture of aerospace products, equipment, and aircraft structures for public use and in performing assurance audit on aviation organizations, especially on the aircraft airworthiness management, to ensure safety of the flying public."
New aero engineers...serving for the good of Philippine society...
Many thanks to Engr. Arvs Gastardo, president of SAEP North Luzon chapter, and Engr. Jhune Naval, SAEP Treasurer, for the inputs in crafting the aero engineering CSR.

FEATI Launched MSC Software

FEATI University launched a partnership venture with MSC Software Corporation at the A & B Solaire Resort & Casino Entertainment City on May 7, 2019. The venture establishes FEATI as the 1st MSC Philippine Center of Excellence in the country.

MSC stands for MacNeal-Schwendler Corporation as the company was founded by Dr. Richard MacNeal and Robert Schwendler in 1963. The company developed its first structural analysis software called SADSAM (Structural Analysis by Digital Simulation of Analog Methods). This was used in the aerospace industry to improve early finite element analysis technology. In the 1960s, the company developed NASTRAN (NASA Structural Analysis), a general purpose structural analysis program in response to NASA's request for proposal (RFP). The commercial version of NASTRAN is called MSC/NASTRAN which can be used by the industry to analyze and predict stress and strain, vibration and dynamics, acoustics, and thermal analysis.
Mr. Francisco Segovia, FEATI's Vice Chairman of the Board & CEO
During the launching, Mr. Francisco Segovia, FEATI's Vice Chairman of the Board and CEO, together with Dr.-Ingr. Adolfo Jesus Gopez, President of FEATI, introduced the partnership venture and their plans for the future.
